Panasonic Lumix S PRO 24-70mm f/2.8 Lens
A contemporary version of the classic quick zoom standard, the Panasonic Lumix S PRO 24-70mm f/2.8 is a wide-angle to short L-mount telephoto lens that is characterized by its constant maximum aperture f/2.8 and sophisticated optical design. Aspherical, UHR and ED elements are used to produce well-corrected images with high sharpness, accurate color rendering and remarkable clarity in zoom and focus ranges. Complementing the optics is a dual focus system, which uses a linear motor and a stepper motor, to provide particularly fast and accurate focusing performance. In addition, the lens has a weather-sealed design for use in difficult conditions and a rounded 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality with smooth transitions between focused and unfocused regions of the image.
The standard zoom is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, however it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length range of 36-105mm.
The maximum constant bright f/2.8 aperture maintains constant illumination throughout the zoom range and offers greater control over depth of field.
